Our optometry practice has existed in Matamata for many years. The current owner and optometrist, Mike Farrell, graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry from Auckland University in 1985 and considers optometry to be the best job in the world. Our current team consists of Mike, Debbie and Kelsi.

I have been an optometrist for over 30 years and consider it to be the best job in the world. I thoroughly enjoy living and working in the Matamata community. Although running the business and keeping my optometric knowledge up to date takes up a considerable amount of time, I also manage to play basketball, cycle, fish and build wooden boats. I am also a member of Matamata Rotary Club.
